1. About This Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how NKO Training FZE, Trade Licence No. 4429525.01, uses cookies and similar technologies on the NKO Training website, online school and learning management system. It should be read with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

2. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on a browser or device when a website is visited. They can enable essential functions, remember preferences, maintain sessions, measure performance and support communications or marketing. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, software development kits, device identifiers and server-side logs.

3. Who Sets the Technology

A first-party technology is set by or for the NKO Training domain. A third-party technology is set by another provider whose service is integrated into the Platform, such as a learning-platform, video, payment, analytics, communications or advertising provider. Third-party providers may process information under their own privacy notices for activities they independently control.

5. Current Cookie List and Settings Centre

The specific technologies used may change as the Platform, LearnWorlds configuration, integrations and providers change. The live cookie banner or Cookie Settings centre should display the current categories and, where supported, the provider, purpose and duration of individual technologies. That live list is the operational record of technologies currently enabled.
NKO Training will periodically review the Platform and update its settings and public information when material technologies or purposes change.

6. Consent and Legal Basis

Where applicable law requires consent for storing or accessing information on a device, non-essential technologies will not be enabled until valid consent is recorded. The user should be offered a genuine choice to accept, reject or manage non-essential categories. Refusing optional technologies will not prevent access to purchased Course Content, although some convenience or embedded features may be unavailable.
Strictly necessary technologies may be used without optional consent where permitted because they are required for authentication, security, checkout, fraud prevention, session management or delivery of a requested service.

7. Managing Cookie Choices

You can manage available categories through the cookie banner or settings centre. A withdrawal or change applies prospectively and does not make earlier processing unlawful. A small necessary record may be stored to remember your choice and avoid repeatedly presenting the same request.
You can also use browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may prevent login, checkout, video playback, saved progress, security functions or other essential features. Browser instructions vary by provider and device.

8. Retention and Expiry

Session technologies expire when the browser or session ends. Persistent technologies remain for the duration stated in the live settings centre or until deleted. NKO Training will configure durations proportionate to the stated purpose and will not retain cookie-derived personal data longer than reasonably necessary under the Privacy Policy.

9. Third-Party Services

The Platform may use third-party services for learning management, video, payment, scheduling, support, analytics, communications and advertising. A provider may receive technical information when its service is loaded or used. NKO Training will use consent and contractual controls where required, but the provider’s independent terms and notices may also apply.

10. Do Not Track and Similar Signals

Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not implemented consistently across the industry. NKO Training will respect choices made through its cookie banner and any legally recognised universal opt-out signal that the Platform is configured and legally required to honour.

11. Changes to This Policy

NKO Training may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Platform, providers, technology or law. The current version and effective date will be published on the Platform. Material changes may also be communicated through the cookie banner or another appropriate notice.
