Cancellation, Refund, Transfer and Rescheduling Policy
1. Scope
This Policy applies to Courses sold by NKO Training FZE, Trade Licence No. 4429525.01. It forms part of the Terms of Service and Course Enrolment Terms. Where a separately signed corporate or bespoke training agreement contains different cancellation terms, that agreement prevails for the covered booking.
2. Summary Table
3. Mandatory Rights
This Policy governs voluntary cancellations and change-of-mind requests. It does not exclude a refund, correction, replacement access, repeat performance or other remedy that NKO Training must provide because of non-delivery, material defect, material misdescription, material non-conformity or another non-excludable breach.
4. E-Learner Courses
4.1 Final purchase after supply begins
4.2 Incidental live components
4.3 Immediate digital supply acknowledgement
5. Live Online and In-Person Courses
5.1 Cancellation at least 21 days in advance
A purchaser is eligible for a refund of 50% of the Course fee actually paid if NKO Training receives a complete written cancellation request at least 21 full calendar days before the first scheduled Course session. The remaining 50% is retained to reflect administration, Course preparation, trainer and coordinator commitments, reserved capacity, venue or technology commitments and the reduced opportunity to resell the place.
Where mandatory law requires the retained amount to be adjusted by reference to actual loss, NKO Training will make the legally required adjustment.
5.2 Requests within 21 days
Except where mandatory law requires otherwise, no voluntary refund is available where the request is received fewer than 21 full calendar days before the first session, where the booking is made during that period, or where the Learner fails to attend, arrives late, leaves early or attends only part of the Course.
5.3 Reasons that do not create a refund entitlement
No voluntary refund is due because of:
- Change of mind, work commitments or personal circumstances;
- Failure to obtain employer approval;
- Travel, visa or accommodation problems;
- Failure to satisfy disclosed prerequisites;
- Failure to check the stated time zone;
- Device, browser, internet or corporate-network problems outside NKO Training’s reasonable control;
- Failure to complete or pass; or
- Removal for serious misconduct or material breach.
6. Cancellation Request Procedure
All cancellation requests must be sent to booking@nkotraining.com. The request must state the purchaser and Learner names, Course name, first scheduled date and order, invoice or registration number where available. The effective time is when the complete request is received by NKO Training, based on UAE local time. Telephone calls, social-media messages or discussions with an instructor do not constitute cancellation unless NKO Training confirms it in writing.
7. Substitutions, Transfers and Credits
NKO Training may, at its discretion and subject to availability and eligibility, permit an eligible substitute Learner, a one-time transfer or a limited Course credit. A transfer or credit may require an administrative charge or price difference, may be restricted to the same Learner, may expire and has no cash value. It is not a contractual entitlement and must be confirmed in writing.
An E-Learner account cannot be transferred after access is activated.
8. Hybrid Courses and Bundles
The Course page or checkout will state how a Hybrid Course or bundle is classified. Once a digital component has been supplied, that component is non-refundable. Any refund for a separately priced live component is calculated under the 21-day rule. Where components are not separately priced, NKO Training may deduct the reasonable value of digital content already supplied, subject to mandatory law.
9. Cancellation or Rescheduling by NKO Training
NKO Training may cancel or reschedule because of insufficient enrolment, trainer unavailability, venue or technology problems, health or safety concerns, government action, force majeure or another legitimate operational reason. NKO Training may offer a rescheduled date, alternative trainer or venue, suitable delivery format, comparable Course or credit.
If NKO Training cancels a paid Course and cannot provide a reasonable replacement within a reasonable period, it will refund the affected undelivered Course fee to the extent required by law. External travel, accommodation, visa, childcare and lost-time costs are not reimbursed except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Refund Method and Timing
An approved refund will ordinarily be paid to the original payer and original payment method and initiated within 14 business days after approval and completion of required tax or credit-note documentation. Banks, card networks and payment providers may take additional time to credit funds.
11. Corporate and Bespoke Training
Private-group, corporate and bespoke training may be governed by different cancellation, postponement and refund provisions in the applicable proposal, order form or signed agreement.
